Trip Highlights - Attractions involved: Summer Palace, Jiuhua Spa resort. The springhead of Jiuhua Spa Resort is Xiaotangshan hot spring. Xiaotangshan has been famous for its hot springs for over 300 years. Local legend has it that the imperial family of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) went there to relax. The temperature of water here ranges from 29 C to 90 C. People have used hot spring water in therapeutic baths for more than 200 years to treat rheumatism and other ailments.

First drive to Summer Palace. The Summer Palace was originally a royal garden and a temporary dwelling palace for emperors of Qing Dynasty.It is the largest and most complete imperial garden existing in China. After lunch, move on to a local big fresh water pearl market.Then drive to Jiuhua Spa Resort for 2 - 4 hours' spa bathing at the public hot spring pools. The Jiuhua spa is rich in microelement.The water of the hotspring is clear and limpid. After relaxation, drive back to your hotel downtown.
