Dalian Jinshi Golf Club, also known as Dalian Golden Pebble Beach Golf Club, was established in 1995. It is located inside the Jinshitan National Tourist Resort area, near the waterfront of Huanghai Sea in the east. It can be said that Dalian Jinshi Golf Club, the waterfront golf course, is rare in China and is a green gemstone embedded in the "Pearl of North". It's only 20 minutes' drive from the Economy and Technolofy Development Zone and 40 minutes' drive away from the center of Dalian city, as well as the international airport. Opened to public in 1993, Dalian Jinshi Golf Club covers an area of 2,230,000 square meters. It was designed by a famous American golf course architect Mr. Peter Thompson and a Chinese American Mr. Zhu Zongying.

The Divine Tortoise Course is an 18 hole, par 72 course which was put into practice after it was finished in September 1996. The Jinying Course, completely finished in 2002, is an 18 hole, par 72, 6415 yard course. With the beautiful natural coast landscape, unique hill features and wonderful design, the whole course looks broad, magnificent, ordered and particular even in each path. Some paths are built along the seashore, some greens are built on top of the hill, and some teeing grounds and greens are separated by a bay. All the greens are located at the head of the sea, which makes the golfing incomparably exciting. No wonder why it was listed into world's top ten courses and seven paths were listed into world top 100 paths in the second year after its opening.

Fairway 7, also known as the "Devil Fairway", is the most challenging one and has gained a reputation as Fairway Number One in the world. The golf course is of typical European and American style.
