Southern Wood Golf Club (Xiamen) is located in Zhangzhou City on the south bank of Xiamen Gulf, facing the ocean in the east and Taiwu Mountain in the south, which can be reached in around half an hour's drive from downtown Xiamen and can be easily accessible from the resort by ferry in 30 minutes. Opened to the public in 1996, Southern Wood Golf Club (Xiamen) with an area of 1,200,000 square meters, is an international standard 18 hole, par 72, 7,324 yard long course. Designed by the outstanding Japanese golf course architect Mr. Kojimasuda, the golf course features beautiful natural environment and blends the 2.6 kilometers winding coastline with the mountains around the course.
