I'm planning a trip to Kunming and our main reason to visit is photographs on the ethnic minority, the old city and the hills or else. Can anybody give us some advice about our trip?

I think you'll have problems to picture the original minority culture and etc if you're going to be only in Kunming for the 4 days. You'll be spending a lot of time on transport if you're travelling to anywhere rural and remote to get good photos.
