Longmen Grottoes Pictures

Longmen Grottoes, also called Longmen Caves, located at the Luoyang, Henan Province, overwhelmingly depicts Buddhist subjects. The grottoes are densely dotted along the two mountains: Xiangshan to the east and Longmenshan to the west. It is one of the three most famous ancient sculptural sites in China along with the Mogao Grottoes in Dunhuang, Gansu Province and Yungang Grottoes in Datong, Shanxi Province.
