- Putuo Mountain Photos: Putuo Mountain is one of the sacred mountains in China, located in Zhoushan prefecture of Zhejiang Province. It is one of the four sacred buddhist mountains in China, together with the Wutai Mountain, Jiuhua Mountain and Emei Mountain. It is said that there are hundreds of temples and monasteries on the Putuo Mountain, both large and small. The famous site on the mountain is the Golden Guanyin.
