Silk Road, the ancient trad routes, across the Asian continent, connecting Est, South and Western Asia with the Mediterranean, as well as the North africa and Europe. The name Silk Road comes from ancient Chinese silk trade which started from Han Dynasty. In Chinese territory, there are some important cities along the road remain and have developed into mordern cities, like Xian, Dunhuang, and Wulumuqi.
