Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located on the Inner Mongolian plateau, about 425 kilometers northwest of Beijing. It borders the Daping Mountains to the north and faces the Dahei River in the south. Hohhot has a northwestern continental climate, with relatively temperate winters and summers. We are kindly to offer a two-day Baotou to Hohhot Side tour with excellent service and competitive rates.

Tour Itinerary: (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner)
Day 01: Baotou / Hohhot (L/D)
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel. Our warmhearted tour guide and good skilled driver will take you to Grassland of Hohhot. After your arrival, you will spend the rest of the day visiting the Gegentala Grasslands. The prairies here are remarkably gorgeous. Today, you will go horse riding, visit a herdsmen's tent and other local activities. In the evening you will have a traditional Mongolian Dinner and view performances of Singing and Dancing. Afterwards you will spend the night in a traditional Mongolian Yurt.

Day 02: Hohhot / Baotou (B/L)
Today you will head back to Hohhot city and sightsee within the city. You will visit the Inner Mongolian Museum, which houses several ethnic Mongolian artifacts. The museum holds 44,000 objects relating to ethnic history in its collections. You can have a good understanding of northern China's culture, history and customs, just through a travel to this amazing museum. Then, you are going to visit Dazhao Temple, the largest Gelukpa temple in town and the earliest lamasery established in the Inner Mongolian during the Ming and Qing dynasties. After that, you will visit the Five Pagoda Temple, also sometimes known as the "Thousand Buddha Pagoda" for the 1,560 reliefs of Buddhas carved into the pagoda walls. With the end of all the tour spots, you will be driven back to Baotou or to the airport for your next destination.(Service End)
