Trip Highlights - Attractions Involved: Mount Emei, Leshan Great Buddha, Du Fu's Cottage, Wangjiang Tower, Panda Reserve at Futoushan. This tour is designed to take you to experience the natural beauty of Chengdu. Chengdu is the capital city of Sichuan Province in Southwestern China the home and habitat of giant panda. The city and its neighbouring areas boast of many natural and historic wonders. This tour covers the major attractions in the outskirt of Chengdu, as Leshan Giant Buddha, Mt. Emei and Giant Pandas etc. You will experience a colorful Chengdu region in these 4 days.

Day 01: Chengdu/Mount Emei (L/D)
The first site on our tour, after your arrival in Chengdu, will be transferred to Mt. Emei. It is one of the four mountains in China sacred to Buddhism, and has long been famous in Chinese literature for its spectacular scenery.

Day 02: Mt. Emei / Chengdu (B/L)
In the morning we shall visit the monks at Myriad Years Monastery on Mt. Emei. Buddhist buildings have been erected on Mt. Emei for almost 2000 years, since the introduction of the religion to China in the first century AD. Currently there are over 100 temples and monasteries. In the afternoon, we shall make a short trip to see the Leshan Great Buddha. Built over 900 years ago this statue stands at 71 meters tall, making it not only China's, but the world's biggest Buddhist statue. This will be followed by a relaxing river cruise in Leshan before returning to Chengdu in the late afternoon.

Day 03: Chengdu (B/L)
In the morning we shall visit Du Fu's Cottage, the Wangjiang Tower. In the afternoon, we shall visit the Panda Reserve at Futoushan giving you the chance to see the panda in its natural environment, before returning to the hotel.

Day 04: Depart from Chengdu (B)
Our tour comes to the end as you are returned to the airport for your departure.
