In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to the Sanxingdui Museum, which houses Sichuan most important Shu cultural sites. The unique Sanxingdui Museum is near the Sanxingdui archaeological site that dates back to 2000 B.C. The site is north of Nanxing Town of Guanghan City in Sichuan Province. Sanxingdui refers to three earth mounds at the site. Hence the site found here is called Sanxingdui Relic. It has some of the most important artifacts from that period and can give us a insight into what life was like in the area between 3000 and 5000 years ago. After the tour, you will be returned to your hotel.

Attraction Description
Sanxingdui Ruins stretches for about 12 square kilometers, which is the largest, oldest, and most connotational Shu cultural relic in Sichuan. The three earth piles, described as three golden stars in a line, hence became known as Sanxingdui (three-star piles). Now it is affirmed by modern archaeology, the three earth mounds of the Sanxingdui Relic are in reality the southern wall of an ancient city that was built of earth. The whole design of the museum is simple, but with a solemn style. The main object is a deformed spiral. It has the poetic charm with historical, geographical features and cultural art. It fully shows the broadness and profundity of Sanxingdui culture.
