In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and be given a day's tour of Fuzhou city. You will visit Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, West lake Park, Xichan Temple and Mt. Gu. Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was built for Lin Zexu, a national icon who banned opium in China and also helped to put a stop to the opium trade. West lake Park is one of the most famous parks in China. It has been a popular destination since Tang Dynasty and is the most completed ancient garden in Fuzhou. Mt. Gu is a famous Buddhist mountain that rests near the Min River. It is a little ways south of Fuzhou and is named Gu due to the large drum-shaped rock on the peak of the mountain.

Lin Zexu Memorial Hall was built to commemorate Lin Zhu, a Fuzhou native who was a national hero. He was responsible for stopping the Opium Trade in 1939 and confiscated and destroyed more than1000 kilograms of opium at Humen beach. The memorial hall was built in 1982, at that time it was called Hall of Master Lin, on the Women's Road in the city.
