Guests are picked up from the hotel and escorted to the grand Jiaxu Pavilion. Situated on a huge rock on the Nanming River, the pavilion is a three-story building, first constructed during the Ming Dynasty (1598). Afterwards, guests are shuttled to Qianling Park, which boosts the beautifully constructed Hongfu Temple as well as a host of gardens, clear waters, green mountains, scenic forest areas and other temples. The Hongfu Monastery, one of the famous temples in Guizhou Province, traces back to the early Qing Dynasty. Guests are transferred back to your hotel.

Jiaxiu Pavilion was built in the Ming Dynasty in the 26th year of Emperor Wanli's reign. An imperial inspector, Jiang Dongzhi, built the pavilion and named it Jiaxiu because he believed the people in Guiyang were the most talented in world. The building is 20 meters high and three stories with a pointed top that has several carved windows and red lattices on all sides.
