Hohhot, the capital of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, is located on the Inner Mongolian plateau, about 425 kilometers northwest of Beijing. It borders the Daping Mountains to the north and faces the Dahei River in the south. Hohhot has a northwestern continental climate, with relatively temperate winters and summers. Day 01: Arrive in Hohhot
Upon your arrival, our dedicated tour guide will meet you at the airport and our warm-hearted driver will drive you to your hotel. Then, you have the rest of the day to explore the city by yourself.

Day 02: Hohhot (B/L/D)
Today, you will be picked up from your hotel and visit several city sites: Dazhao Temple, Located at the Dazhao Qianjie in Yuquan District, Hohhot, the Lamasery was built in 1579 under the reign of Aratan Khan, chief of the Tumd Tribe. As the temple enshrines a 2.5-meter-tall statue of Buddha made completely of silver, it is also called "Silver Buddha Temple." The Five-Pagoda Temple is also called the Sarira Pagoda of Diamond Throne. Built in the 10th Year of Yongzheng in Qing Dynasty in 1731, the Five Pagoda Temple was originally a Lamaism temple. And then, the Inner Mongolia Provincial Museum. It was founded on the tenth anniversary of the establishment of the Inner Mongolian Autonomous Region, in 1957 with 44,000 objects relating to ethnic history in its collections. You can have a good understanding of northern China’s culture, history and customs, just through a travel to this amazing museum. After all the amazing tour spots, you will be sent back to your hotel.
