Attraction Description
Stanley Market
Stanley Market is one of the must-go places for tourists when they visit Hong Kong.  You will find an interesting array of little shops selling silk garments, sportswear, art, Chinese costume jewelry and souvenirs.  While a bit "touristy" if you are a tourist it will certainly help you to cross off all the items on your souvenirs-to-buy-Aunt-Jane shopping list.  A hard morning of shopping is also nicely finished off by a good lunch at one of the many restaurants, which are the reason that Hong Kong locals also frequent the area.
Repulse Bay
The former Repulse Bay Hotel was demolished in 2 stages during the 1970s and 1980s. Later a boutique shopping mall was constructed on part of the old hotel site to mimic some of the lost colonial architecture. On the eastern end of the beach is Kwun Yam Shrine, with prominent statues of goddesses Kwun Yum and Tin Hau. Also overlooking Repulse Bay, although from higher up, is the famous "building with a hole".The Repulse Bay area is one of the most expensive housing areas in Hong Kong. The prices are matched only by the Peak. In 2006, some property prices reached HK$20,000 (US$2,500) per square foot.
Victoria Peak
Victoria Peak is one of the most famous travel attractions, located in the mid-west in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, also called Mount Austin. It is estimated in 552 meters high and local citizens are used to call the peak of Victoria Peak as "The Peak". The area of The Peak refers to the neighborhood of The Peak Gondola. Specifically speaking, The Peak includes Victoria Peak, Kwun...
