In the morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and start a side trip tour to Xidi and Hongcun villages. Located in Yixian County, Xidi and Hongcun Ancient Villages were listed as World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 2000. These two villages are the most representative local-style residences in southern Anhui Province. Xidi Village is famed as being the 'Ming and Qing Dynasty Local Residence Museum'. Hongcun Village enjoys the reputation of 'A Village in the Beautiful Chinese Picture'. After the tour, you will be sent back to your hotel.

Hongcun Ancient Village
Hongcun village was first established in the Song Dynasty, one thousand years ago, as the settlement of Wang Cian. Hongcun can lay claim to hundreds of well preserved buildings of which "Chenzhitang " is the most famous. The whole complex was built by a merchant in the Qing Dynasty and covers an area of 2000 square meters. The craftsmanship utilized in its construction was both elaborate and magnificent.
