For those who have enough time and want to go out of Jinan and see more sightseeing in Shandong province during their Jinan tour, we suggest the 3-day side trip to Tai'an city where Mt. Tai is located and Qufu city which is famous as the place where Confucius lived, studied and was buried. It is over 70 kilometers from Jinan to Tai'an and about 80 kilometers from Tai'an to Qufu. The convenient transportation makes this 3-day side trip to Mt.Tai and Qufu possible.

Day 01: Arrive in Tai'an City
Today, our sincere tour guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel in Jinan with a greeting board. And then you will be driven to Tai'an city, where Mt. Tai located. Afterwards you will be sent to your hotel for rest. Hotel: Taishan Overseas Chinese Hotel 4 star (or similar class)
Day 02: Mt. Tai / Qufu (B/L)
Today, you will spend the day sightseeing on Mt. Tai Tourist Attraction, which is situated in Tai'an in Shandong, followed by a visit to Dai Temple, which was first constructed in the Han Dynasty. It is perhaps the largest ancient complex on Mount Taishan. After the tour you will be driven to the next destination Qufu, where Confucius lived, studied and was buried. After your arrival, you will check in a 4 star hotel to rest. Hotel: 4 star Hotel
Day 03: Qufu / Jinan (B/L)
Today, you will first visit the Cemetery of Confucius, where the family and descendants of Confucius are buried. Next to visit the Temple of Confucius, one of the three largest ancient architectural complexes in China, in which a group of grand buildings built in oriental style. Finally you will visit Kong Family Mansion, where the first son and the first grandson of Confucius lived. It is the largest of its kind in Chinese history. After the tour you will be driven back to Jinan for your next destination. (Service End)
