In the morning, our sincere tour guide will pick up you from your hotel and then take you to the Folk Museum located in Kaili. The Miao people have lived in the eastern part of present day Guizhou and western part of present day Hunan for over 2,000 years. Since the Tang and Song periods they have been referred to as the Miao minority. The Miao people have one of the largest populations out of all the ethnic minorities in southern China, with more than 9,000,000 people.
