Trip Highlights - Attractions Involved: Lhasa Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Tibetan Hospital, Drepung Monastery. This tour covers all the highlights of Lhasa City. Lhasa, the beautiful capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), is the highest city in the world and the object of devout pilgrimage, making it the heart and soul of Tibet. Besides the famous attractions like Potala Palace, Johkang Temple etc, you will also learn some Tibetan Traditional medicine by visiting the Tibetan Traditional Hospital and listen the scripts debate between Lamas at Drepung Monastery.

Tour Itinerary: (Lunch)
In the morning, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to visit The Tibetan Hospital and then Jokhang Temple, the sacred land of Buddhist Pilgrims. The temple here was built in 647 and is the earliest wood masonry structure that still exists in Tibet. After lunch, you will visit the Potala Palace, the winter home of the Dalai Lamas. The palace was built in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of the united Tibet. Afterwards, you will visit the Drepung Monastery, the home of the Gelukpa Sect of Buddhism. This was constructed in 1416 and the second through fourth Dalai Lamas lived here. Later that night you will be brought back to your hotel for the rest of the evening.
