The snow-covered and fog-enlaced mountain resembles a jade dragon lying in the clouds. Scientists say that the mountain formed over 230 million years ago from ancient geosynclines when dinosaurs roamed the Earth. The White Water River filled with the water from Jade Dragon Snow. It is very cold, so it is impossible for anyone to swim in. In the summer time, people love to collect the water and drink it to cool themselves off. In the afternoon, guests visit the Baisha Ancient Frescos, a rich fusion of Han and Tibetan Buddhism, Daoism, and Bai or Naxi Lamaism. Afterwards guests are transferred back to their hotels.
