Penglai, located in Shandong Province of eastern China, is a world famous coastal tour city with mild summers great for sightseeing and holidays. Having long been known as a fairyland, Penglai, Yingzhou and Fangzhang were said to be the three divine mountains in the sea for immortals to live in. Penglai Pavilion Scenic Area is perched on top of Danya Mountain at the northernmost part of Jiaodong peninsula, Yantai. The scenic area includes Penglai Pavilion, Penglai Water City, Penglai Pavilion Xiyuan, and so on. Day 01: Qingdao / Penglai
Today, you will be picked up at your hotel and driven to Penglai. Having long been known as a fairyland, Penglai is one of the three supernatural mountains inhabited by immortals. After you check in your hotel in Penglai, you can explore the city on your own.
Hotel: Penglai Pavilion Hotel 4 star (or similar class)
Day 02: Penglai / Qingdao (B/L)
This morning, you will be taken to visit Penglai Pavilion, which is a large-scale ancient architecture cluster, seated on the hill of Mt. Danya. After a day's tour, you will be driven back to Qingdao and take a flight to you next destination.

Penglai Pavilion  It is said that Penglai was the place that Emperor Qin Shi Huang looked for the elixir of life, and the place where the great Emperor Wu of the Western Han Dynasty (206BC-24) paid his sacred visit. In addition, the legend of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea adds more mysterious atmosphere to the Penglai. The legend goes that the eight immortals crossed the sea using their special powers after they got drunk in the Penglai Pavilion. Penglai, Yingzhou and Fangzhang were said to be the three divine mountains in the sea for immortals to live in.
