Day 01: Arrive in Shegar (L/D)
After your arrival in Shegar, you will be driven to the Everest Base Camp. It takes around four hours to arrive at the camp due to the bad road conditions. When you arrive at the camp you will be able to step out of your cars and walk around. That evening, you will spend the night at a simple, local guesthouse.

Day 02: Depart from Shegar (B)
In the morning, you will visit Rongbuk Monastery. Then, you will be sent to your next destination.

Rongbuk Monastery
Rongbuk Monastery was built in 1899 and is the Nyingma Sect’s monastery. It is located at the end of the Rongbu glacier at the northern slope of the Everest with the elevation of 5,154 meters. It is the highest monastery in the world and also the camp base for the Mt. Everest climbers. The Rongbuk glacier is 22.2 km and averagely 14km wide with the area of 868,900 sq km
