Today, our sincere tour guide will pick you up at the lobby of your hotel in the morning and then take you to Wuxi. Wuxi has several gardens, teahouses, temples and pagodas. Some of those that you will visit will be Jichang Garden, and Lee Garden which is on the shores of Taihu Lake. Lee Garden is one of the most famous gardens in China. Surrounded by water on three sides covering over 40% of its whole area, the Lee Garden has several different plants and natural structures. You will also take a boat ride on Tai Lake. Taihu Lake is the second largest freshwater lake in China, formed by meteorite impacts almost ten thousand years ago and maybe even longer than that. Lee Garden (Liyuan Garden)
Liyuan Garden is located in the southwest of Wuxi City. The garden consists of two parts: the original Liyuan Garden and Yuzhuang Garden. It is named after well-known historic figure, Fan Li, a politician, militarist and economist in Spring and Autumn Period (770 BC-476 BC). The wealthy businessman Wang Erzheng set up Lee garden in 1930 as his private garden. Taihu Lake
