Regarded as one of the birthplaces of Chinese people, Tianshui boasts its brilliant and long history. And it used to be the first stop in Gansu province along the Silk Road for businessmen and visitors to different parts of northwestern China, so it is one of the world's oldest and most historically important trade routes. This one-day tour in Tianshui city we provide will be a pleasant one!

Tour Itinerary:  (Lunch)
This morning, you will be picked up at your hotel and first driven to Maijishan Grottoes, which is famous for its many Buddhist caves that are gouged into its southwestern face. Manjishan Grottoes is the fourth largest area of concentrated Buddhist grottoes in China. Then, you will be taken to have your lunch. After the lunch, you will visit Immortals' Cliffs, where temples built under the shelter of an enormous overhanging cliff. Immortal' Cliffs was named according a legend: "the immortal shows the way with lamps." It was thought of as a gathering place for immortals. Now it is a grotto temple displaying interaction between Buddhism and Daoism.Afterwards, you will be driven back to your hotel in Tianshui. (Service End)

Maijishan Grottoes
Maijishan, located on the northern side of the Qinling Mountain Range and at a height of 1742m above sea level, gets it's name from its giant, haystack-like shape. It is a famous travel site along the Silk Road. The mountain's fame arises not just from its appearance, but from the many Buddhist caves that are gouged into its southwestern face.
