Day 01: Arrive in Tianshui
Upon your arrival in Tianshui, our dedicated tour guide will pick up you at the airport and then take you to your hotel. The rest of the day will be yours to rest or explore the city on your own. Hotel: Local Best
Day 02: Depart from Tianshui (B/L)
In the morning, the tour guide will pick up you at your hotel and first drive you to Maijishan Grottoes, which is one of the four most famous Grottoes in China. Then, you will visit Immortals' Cliffs, where temples built under the shelter of an enormous overhanging cliff. It was thought of as a gathering place for immortals. Now it is a grotto temple displaying interaction between Buddhism and Daoism. Afterwards, you will leave Tianshui for your next destination. (Service End)

Maijishan Grottoes
The Buddhist Grottoes in Maijishan can be dated from the Northern Wei dynasty (386-534). The most outstanding sculpture in this area is the 16m Buddha carved high up on the mountain. The grottoes are divided into two sections, the western and eastern. However, the western section was destroyed seriously by an earthquake happened in eighth century, while the eastern section was protected well.
