In the morning, you will be met by your tour guide and a private vehicle in the hotel. Your one day tour of Xian will straightly start with the highlight of the Terra-Cotta Warriors, about 50km east of the city area. Found by a local farmer drilling a well in 1974, it has turned into the Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum and become the most important attraction in Xian. A typical Xian local flavor lunch will be arranged after that. On the way back to the city, you will be led to the Huaqing Hot Spring Scenic Area to have a visit, located under the Lishan Mountain just 5km east of the Terracotta Warriors. This is the right place to enjoy Chinese gardening in Tang Dynasty. After the tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Terra-Cotta Warriors were found accidently by some local farmers when they were digging wells near the Mausouleum of the First Qin Emperor in 1974. The Terracotta Army not only consists of strong warriors but also other elements as in a real ancient army should have had in the ancient time, such as chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians raning from 1.78 to 2 meters...
Huaqing Hot Springs is famous for both its spring scenery and the romantic love story of Emperor Xuanzong (685-762) and his concubine Yang Guifei in the Tang Dynasty (618-907). It is located under the Lishan Mountain just 5 km east of the Terracotta Warriors and Horse Museum. this is the right place to go if you want to know more about the history of the Tang Dynasty...
