Once a center of trade and finance, Pingyao still remains much as it used to be hundreds of years ago and is the best preserved walled city in China. Leave Beijing by train, take an extension tour to Pingyao and discover its former glory and prosperity.

Tour Itinerary: (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner)
Day 01: Beijing / Pingyao
Today, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and send you to the train station to take an evening train (soft-berth) to Pingyao.
Day 02: Pingyao / Beijing (B/L/D)
Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up from the train station and you will have your breakfast. Then you will spend the whole day exploring this ancient city. The first destination is the Qiao Family's compound, a great introduction to the area. After lunch, you will visit the Ming-Qing Street, the Chenghuang Temple, the Ri Sheng Chang Financial House and the Tongxinggong Ancient Bank bodyguard establishment. Then, you will be sent to the train station to take a train back to Beijing.
Day 03: Arrive in Beijing
Today, your guide will pick you up from the railway station and send you back to your hotel.
