Ottoman Turkish Restaurant, Beijing's most high-end Turkish eatery satisfies cravings for pita breads, dips and skewered meats that will leave your stomach round as a full moon by the time you’re on your way out the door. As the new kid on the block, the restaurant has seen its fair share of business due to its location neighboring other ethnic restaurants along Lucky Street. Its two owners, both natives of Turkey, have done well designing a comfortable dining environment that feels like a slice of Turkey transplanted into Beijing. Ottoman specializes in family-sized meat dishes that leave stomachs full. Sure the prices are Western, but when it's kebabs you want without the strip lighting common to other joints, this is the place. There are also many options for salads (featuring extremely good Turkish cheese) and a plethora of other meat dishes. Beijing lacks quality Turkish restaurants, so Ottoman is just perfect for a meaty night of Turkish delight. Address: 32 Lucky Street, Sanyuanqiao, west of 21 Century Hotel. Telephone: 86-10-58670210

Not many Turkish restaurants in Beijing, but I think the best one is a Turkish Mum Restaurant near Sanlitun area. The food in Turkish Mum is really authentic, Turkish chef. Lots of Turks and Arads go out and dine over there, so this Turkish Restaurant is very popular. We recommend that you should book in advance before you go.
