Beijing has some spectacular temples on offer for the visitor as well as hundreds of less-known temples scattered throughout the city, which are often oases of peace and quiet away from the busy streets. Some of the temples are still in use for people to pray, while some of the others are preserved only for visiting. This Beijing temple tour leads you to discover different kinds of buddhist temples in Beijing, from which you may get more understanding of Chinese buddhism.

Tour Itinerary: (Lunch)
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and take you to visit the Temple of Azure Clouds and the Temple of the Reclining Buddha. The Temple of Azure Clouds sits at the foot of the Western Hills and is famous for the Diamond Throne Pagoda located in the hills. The Temple of the Reclining Buddha is also at the foot of these hills and has a huge statue of the recumbent Buddha inside the temple. After lunch, you will visit the Lama Temple and the White Dagoba (Stupa). The White Dagoba Temple (Baitasi) is located in the Western District inside Beijing. It is over 50 meters high and is the largest Dagoba from the Yuan Dynasty (1280-1368AD) that has not been destroyed. After visiting these places you will return to your hotel.
