Dunhuang Maps

Dunhuang is a populated place in Gansu province in Northwest China. The coordinates of Dunhuang are 40°10' 0"N / 94°41' 0"E with the elevation of 1130 meters. It was a major stop on the ancient Silk Road situated in an oasis contatining Crescent Lake and Mingsha Shan (Echoing-Sand Mountain). The name of the mountain is named for the sound that the wind whipping off the dunes.
