Hefei, located in the central Anhui, is a prefecture-level city which is the capital city of Anhui Province. Hefei is on the north close to Chaohu Lake which is one of the five largest lakes in China. The geographical coordinates are 31°51' 50" N,/117°16' 51" E with an area of 2,805 square miles. Hefei plays a very important roal in connecting the East and West China as well as north and south.
