Starting in Beijing, tour takes you to the very remote parts of China in Dunhuang for its wonderful grottoes. The murals in Dunhuang Grottos are amazing, the culture behind it and stories along the Silk Road is unique. Without being on the road in person, it's hard to imagine people actually lived here and created all these. Then fly to the ancient Xian city that is the symbol of traditional Chinese culture. After visit its amazing Terra cotta Army, we will fly to Shanghai to experience the modern pace of China.

Tour Itinerary

Itinerary (B: Breakfast, L: Lunch, D: Dinner)

Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing, your guide will take you to your hotel and check-in. Today you will have free time to relax, and then see the city on your own if you want.
Day 02: Beijing (B/L/D)
Today you will visit several places throughout Beijing. First, you will visit the Summer Palace, the resort of Empress Dowager Ci Xi. After you have lunch, you will visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. Afterwards, you will eat Peking Duck at a famous Beijing restaurant.
Day 03: Beijing (B/L/D)
Today you will first visit the Great Wall, the only man made structure on Earth that is visible from the moon. After you walk around and then have lunch, you will take a ride to the nearby Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. Later in the evening, you will attend an Acrobatic Show.

Day 04: Beijing / Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Today you will fly to Dunhuang. After your arrival, you will be met at the airport and driven to your hotel for rest.

Day 05: Dunhuang (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Mogao Grottoes, Crescent Moon Lake and then to visit Dunes of the Singing Sands. Then you will be driven back to your hotel for rest.
Day 06: Dunhuang / Xian (B/L/D)
Today you will fly from Dunhuang to Xian, one of China's ancient capitals. When you arrive in Xian, you will visit the Ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. For dinner, you will have an imperial dumpling dinner banquet and view a stage show of Tang Dynasty dancing and music.

Day 07: Xian (B/L/D)
After you eat breakfast, you will first visit the Terra Cotta Warriors, some of the oldest statues ever found. Then you will visit the Tomb of Emperor Qing Shi Huang. Afterwards you will head back to your hotel.

Day 08: Xian / Shanghai (B/L/D)
This morning you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your hotel.
Day 09: Shanghai (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will visit the Bund, the Temple of City Patron, Yu Garden and Nanjing Road. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel for the night.
Day 10: Depart from Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, you will be free to explore the city until the time to go to the airport to catch your flight.
