Flying into Beijing, the tour continues to be along the ancient Silk Road and finally arriving in Shanghai. Itinerary (B: Breakfast, L: Lunch, D: Dinner)
Day 01: Arrive in Beijing (B/L/D)
Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel to check in.
Day 02: Beijing (B/L/D)
This morning you will visit the Great Wall. After lunch, you will visit the Forbidden City and the Tiananmen Square. Then you will be driven back to your hotel for rest.
Day 03: Beijing / Urumqi (B/L/D)
Today you will take a flight to Urumqi. Upon your arrival, you will be picked up at the airport and taken to your hotel to check in.
Day 04: Urumqi / Turpan (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Heavenly Lake, also known as Jade Lake. After visiting this spectacular site, you will then proceed to Red Hill Park. At the top of the hill there is an 8 meter high, nine story tall pagoda that you can visit. After that, you will be driven to Turpan.
Day 05: Turpan / Train (B/L/D)
Morning visit the Buddhist Bezelkik Caves and Flaming Mountains, which are made up of red sandstone. After lunch, you will visit the famous ancient ruined city of Jiaohe, an important garrison for this region of China during the Western Han and Tang Dynasties. It is the largest, oldest and best preserved ancient city in China. After that, you will be driven to the railway station to take your train to Dunhuang. You will spend a night on the train.
Day 06: Train / Dunhuang (B/L/D)
This morning you will be picked up at the railway station. After breakfast, you will visit the Mogao Grottoes, Crescent Moon Lake and then to visit Dunes of the Singing Sands. After that you will be driven to your hotel for rest.
Day 07: Dunhuang / Jiayuguan (B/L/D)
Today you will be driven to Jiayuguan Pass, which is situated on the most western point of the Great Wall. After visiting the pass, you will be taken to your hotel for rest.
Day 08: Jiayuguan / Train (B)
This morning will be free for you to relax or explore the city on your own. After lunch, you will be driven to the railway station to take your train to Xian. You will spend a night on the train.
Day 09: Train / Xian (B/L/D)
This morning you will be met at the railway station and driven to visit the Ancient City Wall and the Wild Goose Pagoda. And you will enjoy the dumpling banquet for dinner, and then you will watch the Tang Dynasty Dancing Show. Then you will be driven to your hotel for night.
Day 10: Xian (B/L/D)
After you eat breakfast, you will first visit the Terra Cotta Warriors, some of the oldest statues ever found. Then you will visit the Tomb of Qin Emperor. Afterwards you will head back to your hotel.
Day 11: Xian / Shanghai (B/L/D)
This morning you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up at the airport and drive you to your hotel.
Day 12: Shanghai (B/L/D)
After breakfast, you will visit the Bund, the Temple of City Patron, Yu Garden, and Nanjing Road. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel for the night.
Day 13: Depart from Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, you will be free to explore the city until the time to go to the airport to catch your flight.
