Itinerary (B: Breakfast, L: Lunch, D: Dinner)
Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
Upon your arrival in Beijing, you will be picked up at the airport and driven to your hotel to rest.
Day 02: Beijing / Xining (B/L/D)
Today you will be driven to the airport for your flight to Xining. Upon your arrival in Xining, you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel to rest.
Day 03: Xining / Train (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Dongguan Mosque and Ta'er Monastery. After that you will be driven to the railway station to take your train to Lhasa. You will spend a night and day on the train.
Day 04: Train / Lhasa
Whole day on the train. Upon your arrival in Lhasa, you will be picked up at the railway station and driven to your hotel to rest.
Day 05: Lhasa (B/L/D)
Your guide will take you visit Jokhang Temple, the Carpet Factory and The Tibetan Traditional Hospital. Afterwards you will visit Norbulingka Park. Afterwards you will be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.
Day 06: Lhasa (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will then visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.
Day 07: Lhasa / Chengdu (B/L/D)
You will be driven to the airport for your flight to Chengdu. There you will visit Wuhou Temple and Dufu Thatched Cottage. Then you will be taken to your hotel to rest.
Day 08: Chengdu / Shanghai (B/L/D)
Take a flight to Shanghai. You will first visit the Bund, Nanjing Road, and the Temple of City Patron. Then drive to your hotel to check in.
Day 09: Depart from Shanghai (B)
After breakfast, transfer to airport and take a flight to your next destination.
