10-Day Zhangjiajie Exploration Tour

Itinerary (B: Breakfast, L: Lunch, D: Dinner)

Day 01: Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, your guide will pick you up from the airport, then transfer to your hotel to check in.
Day 02: Beijing (B/L/D)
Today you will visit Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, the largest and most intact structures of the imperial palace. After lunch, visit the Summer Palace. In the evening you will attend a famous Chinese Acrobatic Show.

Day 03: Beijing (B/L/D)
The highlight of today's tour is a trip to the Great Wall of China, the only man-made structure on Earth that can be observed from the moon. After lunch, you will visit the Ming Tombs, the burial site for 13 of the Ming emperors. For dinner, you will enjoy the famous Peking Roast Duck.

Day 04: Beijing / Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
Upon your arrival in Zhangjiajie, your guide will pick you up from the airport and drive you to the hotel. The rest of the day is for you to relax or explore the city.
Day 05: Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
Today, you will take a hike on the Yellow Stone Stronghold. During the hike, you can enjoy the scenic spots along the way: Chinese Fur Free Grove, Stone House, South Heaven Gate and South Heaven Pillar. When you reach to the top, you can enjoy the most notably Three Thousand Peaks. Then, you will continue the tour with a hike along the "Husband & Wife" Rock, followed by a delicious dinner.

Day 06: Zhangjiajie (B/L/D)
Today, you will hike along the Golden Whip Brook, Yuanjiajie Natural Reserve and Tianzi Mountains. From the Bailong Lift (the tallest lift in the world); you can take a chair lift up to the top of Yuanjiajie (approximately 1.58 seconds) and some sightseeing. Afterwards, you will take a bus to Tianzi Mountain to take a glimpse at the uniquely shaped peaks and waters. The last stop is Helong Park before you are driven back to your hotel to rest.

Day 07: Zhangjiajie / Changsha (B/L/D)
Today you will be transferred to Changsha. After your arrival, you will visit Yuelu Academy of Classical Learning. Yuelu Academy is one of the four famous academies in China. Afterwards, you will be transferred to your hotel for rest.

Day 08: Changsha / Shanghai (B/L/D)
Today you will take a flight to Shanghai. Upon your arrival, your guide will pick you up from the airport and take you to visit the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Then you will be driven to your hotel to check in.

Day 09: Shanghai (B/L/D)
Today's excursion takes you to Nanjing Road, the Bund, the Yu Garden, and the well-known Temple of City Patron.
Day 10: Depart from Shanghai (B)
Today will be free for you to explore this city on your own. Later in the day you will be brought to the airport to take a flight to your next destination.
