We were in Beijing for 1 day and booked a Day Tour that included Tianamien Square, the Forbidden City and the Great Wall. Our guide and driver met us right on time (1030). The guide's English was excellent and she was very informative when she explained the various venues. Traffic was light and the driver was very safe. There was as stop at a silk factory. We aren't a big fan of these, but we did buy some items. Knowing now how good the tour was, I'd book it again and endure the sales pitch.The restaurant we stopped at had very good Chinese style food and a lot of it.The tour lasted all day. We returned to our hotel about 7:00 P.M. The driver also indulged my request to stop at a store in order to buy some gifts.This is a great choice at a fair price to see the important sights in Beijing if you only have 1 day.
