Bahamas Embassies and Consulates

On 23rd, May, 1997, China and Bahamas formally established diplomatic relations. On 19th, July of the same year, China set the embassy in Nassau, Bahamas. Bahamas opened its embassy in China until 20th, January, 2006. After the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations, Sino-Bahamian have achieved fruitful exchanges and cooperation in the fields of politics, economy, culture, and education. The most exports go from China to Bahamas. The trade volume between the two nations in 2002 reached to USD62.93 million. There were also cultural and educational exchanges and cooperations undertoken between the two countries in the past decade.
