China and Barbados formally established diplomatic relations on May 30, 1977. Since then, the bilateral relations have deveoped smoothly and steadily characterized by the frequent mutual visits of state leaders and high-ranking officials of the two nations. There were also fruitful results In the field of bilateral cultural and edcational exchanges and cooperation between the two country.
