China and Bolivia established deplomatic relation on July 9th, 1985. Since then the two nations have cooperated on many aspects smoothly and developed a healthy Sino-Bolivian relation. Bolivia, Republic of Bolivia, locates in the middle of Latin America covering 1, 098, 581 square kilometers. The nation was founded on August 6th, 1825 after revolutions. The capital is Sucre. The population is 6, 340, 000 based on census in 1992, of which 54 percent is Indians. Bolivia holds a mild deplomatic policy which is upholding the priciple of independence, peace and rapprochemet. In its over 180 years history, Bolivia has always been active to participate in regional and international affairs.
