Ghana Embassies and Consulates

The Republic of Ghana is located on the Gulf of Guinea, only a few degrees north of the Equator, therefore it is geographically closer to the "centre" of the world than any other country. More than 250 languages and dialects are spoken in Ghana while English is the country's official language. China and Ghana signed agreement of economic and technological cooperation and trade agreement. The Chinese side has aided Ghana in the construction of a national theater, Afefi Irrigation Project, vocational training center, Dangme East District Hospital. Besides, China has provided Ghana with the complete sets of project, including cotton-textile machineries, methane-gas equipment and also carried out the technical cooperation project for Nobewam Farmland Irrigation Project and for national theater, etc.
