The Kingdom of Morocco is a country located in North Africa with a population of nearly 32 million and an area just under 447,000 square kilometers. Morocco has always been a crossroads between Africa, Europe and the Middle East. It is an ethnically diverse country with a rich culture and civilization and known for its wildlife biodiversity. The major resources of the Moroccan economy are agriculture, phosphates, and tourism. Sales of fish and seafood are important as well. The diplomatic relations between China and Morocco was established in 1958; afterwards the bilateral relations of the two countries saw a favorable development. The visit between the leaders and officials from the two governments has improved the cooperation of China and Morocco in many aspects.
