The Federal Republic of Nigeria, the most populous country in Africa, is situated on the Gulf of Guinea in West Africa. It is the most populous country in the world whose major population is black. Nigeria is classified as an emerging market, and is rapidly approaching middle income status. Feb.10th, 1971 witnessed the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and the Nigeria. Since then, the bilateral relations have developed steadily and rapidly. The two countries have signed a series of agreements on trade, economic and technical cooperation and so on. Up to now, more than 67 Chinese companies invested into Nigeria in many areas.
