Senegal Embassies and Consulates

The Republic of Senegal is a country in western Africa. Its size is almost 197,000 km² with an estimated population of about 12.5 million. Dakar is the capital city. Fishing is the main source of its economy while tourism takes the second place. China and Senegal established diplomatic relations in 1971. But it was severed after Senegal resumed the "diplomatic relations" with Taiwan in 1996. In 2005, China and Senegal reestablished the ambassadorial-level diplomatic relations. In the year of 2009, China offered RMB80, 000,000 to Senegal for economic assistance gratis.
