Serbia, officially the Republic of Serbia, is a country located in both Central and Southeastern Europe. Its capital named Belgrade. In the early 1990s, four of the six republics of Yugoslavia declared their indepandence, only Serbia and Montenegro were not. On April 27, 1992, the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia Assembly adopted a new constitution, which declares the Republic of Serbia and Montenegro jointly established Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. It has a total area of 88,000 km² with a population of about 9.9 milion (2006). Yugoslavia developed diplomatic relation with China on January 2, 1955. Then, on June 14, 2006, China Embassy in Serbia and Montenegro was renamed The PR of China Embassy in the Republic of Serbia.The national day of Serbia is Febrary 15th.
