Seychelles Embassies and Consulates

The Republic of Seychelles consists of over 116 islands scattered over 1 million square kilometers of sea in the middle of the Western Indian Ocean. The islands enjoy a pleasant tropical climate all year round. The cosmopolitan Seychellois are a colorful and harmonious blend of different races, which results in the charming Creole culture enriched from many continents. China established the diplomatic relations with Seychelles in 1976. After that it has seen a smooth relationship between the two countries. China donated USD210, 000 and a large amount of disaster relief materials to Seychelles after the 2004 tsunami.
