South Africa Embassies and Consulates

The Republic of South Africa is a country located at the southern tip of Africa. It is the only country in the world that has three capitals: Pretoria (executive), Bloemfontein (judicial) and Cape Town. China and the South Africa established diplomatic relations in 1998. The two governments have signed agreements on cultural, scientific and technological cooperation, and set up a joint scientific and technologic commission. South Africa is China's largest trading partner in Africa. The trade volume between the two countries accounted for 20 percent of the total between China and Africa. Cultural groups and artist troupes from the two countries have exchanged visits and held regular exhibitions in the past years.
