Tonga Embassies and Consulates

The Kingdom of Tonga, located in the Southwest of South Pacific nearby equator, is made up of 172 big or small islets. It established the diplomatic relations with China on 2, Novermber, 1998. Since then, the relationship of cooperation has developed sound and smoothly in the fields of politics, economy, culture, education, health and military affairs. On 15, February, 1999, China set the embassy in Tonga, while Tonga set it in China in May, 2005. With the joint effort of State leaders and people, the trading amount between two countries has reached to 3.337 million USD Dollars. Meanwhile, there are also many cultural exchanges and education support undertaken between two countries.
