Dalian, is located on the east coast of the Eurasian continent, the suthernmost tio on liaodong peninsula on northeast China. The coordinates of Dalian on the world map are 38°58'0"N / 121°33'0"E. Dalian is the southernmost city of Northesast China and China's northernmost (still warm water) seaport. Dalian is also one of the 14 coastal open cities in China. With a coastline of 1,906 km, it governs the entire Liaodong Peninsula and about 260 surrounding islands and reefs.
