Jiuquan Maps

Jiuquan city (i.e. Suzhou) is the closest major city to the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. Still, the space launch center is more than 100 km away from the city, and It is also bordered by Qinghai Province in the south, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in the west and Inner Mongolia and Mongolia in the north. Jiuquan is actually located not Gansu province on the map. The famous Silk Road stretched through the city and it had been the vital pass linking Central China with Central Asia and Europe.
