You can find out the city on the southeastern part of China's map. Xiamen, also known as Amoy, is a coastal city in southeastern China. It is administered as a sub-provincial city under Fujian province. It looks out to the Taiwan Strait and borders Quanzhou to the north and Zhangzhou to the south. Because Xiamen has a subtropical monsoon climate, the weather is mild and pleasant most of the year.
