Tianshui Travel Guide

Tianshui, as the second largest city in Gansu Province, located in the south part of the city. It has a long and rich history and regarded as one of the birthplaces of Chinese people. For centuries, it is also an important town on the Silk Road for the travelers and merchants, whom can have a rest there and get an experience of the local custom. Also, it was deemed as the birthplace of the legendary emperor Fuxi, whom is regarded as the ancestor of the Chinese people. Tianshui enjoys a convenient transport. From Lanzhou it is easy to reach Tianshui by bus on a journey that takes about 5 hours. The Maiji Mountain ("Wheat-stack Mountain") is regarded as the savior of Tianshui.
